Terezin, Magdeburg Barracks, September 2008

On September 23, 2008, we performed our first cabaret program in the attic of the Magdeburg Barracks at Terezin. The audience consisted of Shoah survivors and two school classes from Germany and Czechoslovakia. When the ghetto existed, this attic served as a stage for the opera Brundibar.

Viviane Reding, Vice-President of the Commission, and Robert Badinter, former French Minister of Justice, gave a speech before the reading of Room28 and the performance of Zwockhaus.
